Surprise proposals can be planned in two ways:
As part of a regular photo session, where we’ll use a 'code word' to signal when it’s time for the big moment. The first part of the session will feel just like any other shoot, keeping the surprise intact.
Or, we can plan to stay hidden, secretly capturing the proposal as it happens, followed by an engagement session to celebrate the moment.

We’re big believers that images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space. One day, most likely, Instagram will be gone, your phone will be replaced and images that you can physically hold in your hand will be the best way to remember those precious moments we captured.
Think about this fact: fifteen or so years ago, if we had delivered you digital images, they would have been on a floppy disk. With the fast updates to technology, you would have no way to access those images today. Even the online galleries we deliver will eventually fade away.
But prints? Those last. I bet your family still has images from your grandparents (maybe even great grandparents.) And that was likely from a time period when cameras were expensive and prints were harder to come by.

Handcrafted Albums are the perfect way to remember your sweet day
You can expect a sneak peek of images within 48 hours following your wedding and these images will be shared on the SEP facebook page and/or texted to you. Within two weeks of your wedding you can expect your online gallery. (PS, it never takes that long) Video footage takes quite a bit longer to sort and edit, so you can expect your sneak peek trailer approximately three weeks following your wedding and any additional footage that you've selected will be returned within 12 weeks of your wedding.

When will I receive the images and video footage?

While the total number of images will be dependent upon the flow of the day and cooperation of those in attendance, you can expect to receive at least 80 images per hour of coverage - however, it's usually much more than that.

How many images will I receive?

It is recommended that you download and save your images and videos immediately upon receipt of the gallery. While we do not remove the galleries within a certain amount of time, we cannot guarantee the hosting platforms will not malfunction. We archive images and films for one year.

How long will I have access to the images and videos?

Every photography collection receives digital images via an online downloadable gallery and every film collection receives downloadable films via an online hosting site. You will receive unlimited printing and downloading rights. Prints and products are sold separately or purchased on your own via a consumer lab.

Questions
Travel is charged at .70 per mile outside of Nags Head, NC for Sharon and Chase. Travel to South Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills and South Nags Head have no travel fees. If you are requesting a day during peak-season and/or on a Fri-Sat-Sun, travel to Corolla, Carova and Duck have a flat travel fee of $150.00. There is an additional $25 fee for any 4x4 travel.

So exciting! One of the intimate | elopement options for photo - film would be the perfect fit for you! Usually there isn't any 'reception' events for vow renewals, but if so, just let us know and we can craft a custom collection for you!

What if i'm having a vow renewal ceremony?
q:
Because our photo + film collections are ONLY available for intimate weddings and elopements, we are very confident in our ability to serve you well without second shooters. After 16 years experience and having an associate photography company for 10 of those years, I value the team dynamic, but Chase and I have you covered with just the two of us especially because we help with the timeline creation! If you are having a wedding party with more than a couple people, we may not be the best fit for you.

Can we have two photographers and videographers for the photo + film collections?

You are welcome to download and print on your own (Mpix.com is who we recommend) or you can order products and prints directly through the professional lab via your online gallery OR you can contact me directly for specialty products like Gallery Blocks, Frames and Albums!
